So I meant to do a post-race post… my final time was 1:16:something, which was about a 12min/mile pace. Not too bad, but I def. just about diiiiiiieeed during the race. And I really really would prefer to go faster.
So, back to running I go (though I haven’t been to the gym yet this week. I was taking Monday off, babysitting Tuesday, a date tonight… time to get my schedule back in order folks!)
I better get out there tomorrow, because in a bit of I-love-races excitement, I signed up for an 8-K here in town this weekend. I’m pretty sure that’ll be a struggle too — it was mile 4 to 5 that was the worst for me…. But hey, let’s count it as a long run. And I paid for it, so now I have to do it. :)
